Acquired by Pascoal at auction in Aruba in January 2009. POLYNESIA II was left abandoned there by her former owners Windjammer Barefoot Cruises. She is the former cod fishing vessel ARGUS, a near sister to SANTA MARIA MANUELA and CREOULA. She is awaiting being rebuild, probably like SMM. ARGUS is well known from Alan Villiers‘ book "The Quest of the Argus".
