VIEWING PHOTOS

When searching, always note the drop down menu next to Keyword. Exact match is the default

Exact match is the criteria for identifying More From This Ship.
Different spelling of the Ship Name for a photo will not be found, unless an IMO is available.

The search target will be identified if in a description (where former names may be shown), as well as for a Ship Name.

At present, lists of all photos for a category are not available. Photos found when selecting a category name from a drop down menu are those not allocated to a subcategory.

Use address at top of screen to copy link for use in messages

Note Full Screen link over and under photos. Return from Full Screen via Close Window link at top of photo OR click on Full Screen image. If font size has been enlarged by Ctrl with + the photo may not fit within the screen, and scrolling may be required

The search engine looks at the Description. If you include there information relative to you (like location) it will help find your photos of much photographed ships. In the Search box enter "ship name location". The Upload page information is still required.

MY PHOTOS

Click My Photos under Hello after Login to see detailed listing

To see thumbnail, hover curser over Photo Name in detailed listing

To see bigger picture, click on thumbnail


While viewing photo,
Click on Photographer name. Use the menu to search subcategories.
OR
Click View Profile next to Photographer name.
On Profile page next to words Ship photos, click on link under number of photos online, use the menu to search subcategories.


Edit your photo

Click on Edit Info on My Photos listing
Or
Click on Edit Info over or under photo to edit your description

Delete your photo

Click on a My Photo Edit Info link,
>>>> Click delete photo button under photo
>>>> Click OK to (last chance) question - Are you sure you want to delete this photo?


VIEW ALL PHOTOS

Click on Photos tab on Home page

Select sequence desired >>>> Newest, A-Z, Z-A
Select page size >>>> 12/24/48/96


SEARCH OTHER MEMBERS’ PHOTOS

Under any photo
Click on link More From : This Photographer
OR
Click on Photographer name
When the photographers album appears, use the menu above to search for subcategories for the photographer
OR
Click on View Profile next to Photographer name
on Profile page next to words Ship photos, click on link under number of photos online, use the menu above to search for subcategories for the photographer
OR
Use Advanced Search, Photographer item. Note the prompt re keyboard use.
When the photographers album appears, use the menu above to search for subcategories for the photographer

Full Screen - Add Comment - Bookmark this photo - Edit Info

If you want to, add a comment from this link

To see all photos of this ship, click on IMO in description


SEARCH OTHER MEMBERS’ PROFILES

Click on (View profile) next to Photographer Name under photo
Or
Click on member name at list of users online at foot of Forum page

SEARCH FOR INDIVIDUAL VESSELS

Under Hello after login

To search by ship name, enter ship name in Ship Photo Search box, click Search button to right
OR
To search by ship name, or IMO, or MMSI, or Call Sign, click the Advanced Search button underneath

To see all photos of a ship, click on IMO in description for any photo of the ship


SEARCH SUBCATEGORIES

Click Advanced Search at top right hand corner of screen
>>>> On form which appears, change All Categories to required subcategory
>>>> If a category name is chosen, photos in Main (not in a subcategory) will be shown
>>>> Leave blank Ship name and IMO number
>>>> Click Search Now


VIEW SUBCATEGORY LISTING

In Photo Details for any photo, click on name next to Category:



SEARCH FOR OTHER PHOTOS OF A SHIP

Click on IMO in list of My Photos
Or
Click on IMO for ship wherever this is seen

Use links under photo to see More From: This Photographer; This Ship; This Ship by This Photographer

Develop your own habits for this feature.

While looking at a photo, click Bookmark this photo.

Bookmark photos where you have made a comment, to check for responses

Click My Photos under Hello after Login to see a link to a list of Bookmarks you have created.

You can also use your browser for Bookmarks to the site
>>>> While looking at a photo, use the Bookmark icon in the task bar of your browser.
>>>> Do that for individual photos, or a member’s page, or a category listing page
>>>> You could create folders in the browser for individuals, or ships, or categories
