Description:
A Salén built /operated reefer ship. The Winter series was the largest reefer ships in the world at the time they were built.
Salén operated about 20-25% of the world reefer fleet at their heydays.
Here the ship is anchored outside Almirante in Panamá waiting to load its customary load of about 220.000 boxes of bananas if memory serves me right sometime around 1982.
