Next series developed by Szczecin Shipyard after multipurpose general cargo ships B-587/IV:

was B-178; fifth series of container ships from Szczecin and the biggest in terms of capacity.
Otherwise than first vessels, most of the ships were delivered as geared, with three cranes.
In effort to cut costs, sections for last three ships were ordered and delivered from China.
