Built in 1959 and owned by Pure Michigan Boat Cruises, LLC of Munising, Michigan, the Isle Royale III is laid up in Menominee, Michigan on July 17, 2009. Designed and built to haul passengers to Isle Royale National Park in northern Lake Superior.
