Propulsion: nine-cylinder, two-stroke Sulzer 9RD90 developing 18,500bhp at 119 rpm. Speed 20 knots.
1978-sold/renamed ORIENT EXPRESS (Singapore flag);
1979-to breakers at Kaohsiung, Taiwan, arrived 11/5.

Unfortunately scrapped in China !!

There was a move in British shipping circles to save from the scrappers and preserve one of this class that had beeen sold to China but, due to Chinese tardiness in reporting sales to Lloyd's Register, it was found that the ship had been scrapped just a few months earlier.
