Hello Simon, she was for a short period running as "Majorca Rose" between Port Vendres in the South of France and Port d´Alcudia in the North of Mallorca. I think the service did not even last a whole season. Obiously not an ecomical sucsess. I never made it travelling on her her back in 1984.
All ferry services between the South of France and Mallorca have sooner or later failed. The crossing from Barcelona is much shorter and the additional hours on the motorway seemed to be no problem to car drivers.
