Yes it is still called freight mover it was sold to British waterways in the 1970's 74 I think for use with the bacat barges in the goole area with her sister boat which was rebuilt for pushing as well and called freight endeavour it wasn't until later that it went to sharpness and was used with the bucket dredger Thomas fletcher and was still in service until the late nineties

Since we don't know whether she has another name, it seems reasonable to me to continue with FREIGHT MOVER, unless and until something different emerges.

There was no ID on her during arrival (a few years back) - since then she had a new wheelhouse taken from the Jessica S, and had her bulwarks built up... but still no name. Sure we'll something in due course painted on her.

Wow, I would never have associated her with the Freight Mover. The hull is about the only part with any resemblance.

Thanks Krispen, any idea if she has been renamed?

Regards

Bob

Former Freight Mover - moved from her position at Broadness Creek in April, towed to Medway by the Speedwell (seen behind).
