I believe this was one of the first Vehicle/RoRo to come up the Thames, this is from the archives and was taken in the 1960's

She was considered an ugly "weirdo" when she first appeared. Car carriers haven't changed much (except in size) since those days.

Many thanks for this info. Bob, I thought she was a First but was not sure about the connection with Fords at Dagenham but you have revived my memory.

The world's first PCC (pure car carrier),she was a regular in the Thames to load export cars from the Ford plant at Dagenham
