Interesting picture Derek. Didnt realise she was built here. Such a shame after being purpose built for the river Weaver traffic that she wont return to these parts again.

Hi John,
Glad you found the photo of interest, I think we
are so short sited in this country. More use of the Weaver Navigation and the Manchester ship canal would make more sense. The sight of so many heavy lorries on our roads is ridiculous.

The original slide was very dark, this looks so much better after being "treated"
