Exactly. Maybe it was meant there would be a stern anchor but it didn't happen?

I think Denis is wondering why original name is not central also, but on starboard side ?? I can't think of the reason or any advantage.

1st name's are usually marked with welding seams or with completed plates. It make's repainting by crew much easier and the results are better.

The old name is seen because they are welded on the stern, the new name is painted.

Looking at it in full size one can notice the lettering of original name & home port placed on the right than at the center - I wonder why?
