Built 1958 by William Gray & Co Ltd, West Hartlepool, UK. Yard no. 1295.
Main engine: five-cylinder, two-stroke, opposed-piston Doxford 67LBD5 of 5,500bhp at 115 rpm built by Central Marine Engineering Works, West Hartlepool. Speed: 14 knots.
Built as DEGEMA for Elder Dempster Lines Ltd, Liverpool;
1979-sold/renamed VEEJUMBO (as photo)
1982-reverted to original name DEGEMA for voyage to breakers at Gadani Beach, Pakistan, where she arrived 30/1/1983.
