Description:

The infamous "Tuxedo Royale" making its last journey to be broken up at the Able UK yard at the mouth of the Tees. Originally she was the TSS DOVER ferry, converted to a nightclub and spent many years berthed on the Tyne, and the Tees, where she was laid up, had a fire and was badly vandalized she sank and sat on the river bed. She has had topside dismantled at the berth, repairs made to allow her to be re-floated for her final passage looking more like a submarine!! The tug Ormesby Cross alongside.
