Description:

Now here is question for true sailors. The IVER BEST passed Maassluis, coming from Waalhaven, with Multratug 16 being connected and obviously serving as a rudder. Yet the ship has now left the Hook Piers doing 12.6 knots and the tug is returning to base. Question: If the ship is considered to be seaworthy enough to say goodby to the tug, what is/was the nature of the rudder damage, and what will happen next? Heading for a repair yard or is she just testing to see whether possible repairs were carried out satisfactorily? According to Marine Traffic her destination is Rotterdam, but that is not always reliable info.

(PS As there is no class for ships towing a tug, I put her under chemical tankers..)
