Hello, Paul, many thanks - same, all the best for you!

Marcin,
Brilliant information, I did have a booklet from one of the vessels, listing the specifications and a great outline plan of what cargo they could carry. I still have a colour copy of the plan.
Best wishes for 2021

Next series of general cargo ships from Gdańsk Shipyard for Flota Mercante Grancolobiana S.A., after B-469:

was not rated for high speed anymore - to cut fuel consumption. Shorter ships, equipped with Sulzer-Cegielski
6RND68M (10800hp) they made 15,0 - 16,5 kn. Six multipurpose vessels, with 427 TEU capacity, were delivered:

There are various data given for deadweight in different databases (still open/closed shelter deckers in eighties?)
Apparently, the ships were delivered with marking for 16000 DWT at 8,54m (or 8,84m) draught and speed 16,5 kn.
At some point, former "Arturo Gomez J." (or more ships? all class?) was certified for ca. 20400 DWT at 9,75 m,
and "Almirante Jose Padilla" even for 22000 DWT at 10,9m (pictures show waterline marked at different levels).
Speed dropped to 15,0 kn. Interestingly, sometimes higher deadweight values are mismatched with lower draught...
