(Basler Handelsgesellschaft A.G., Basel) (U.T.C.), Hamburg (Management: Union Trading Co., Reinhold Bange, Hamburg) by Rickmers Rhederei GmbH., Rickmers Werft, Bremerhaven (Yard No.: 257), and delivered 26.06.1951. Lloyd's Register No.: 5021968. Call sign: DHNV. GRT: 610, NRT: 236, DWT: 936. Length: 62.47m. Building costs: DM 1'245'000. 4 Derricks. Trading between the North Sea and Spain. 11.03.1952 - untill February 1953 employed in the log trade between Central America and Venezuela, for the Union Trading Caribe Company, Habana she did some trips from Cuba to the USA.

In August 1953 lengthened 4. 21m, by unknown shipyard. New messurement: GRT: 997, NRT: 614, DWT: 1234. Trading from North Europe to the Mediterranean.

On 30.12.1954 purchased by Swiss Mediterranean Shipping Co. Ltd. (Mittelmeer Reederei A. G., Basel), Basel (Management: Keller Shipping Ltd., Basel), Basel and renamed ARBEDO. Official No.: 053. Call sign: HBDE.

1955: Bought by Keller Shipping Ltd., Basel.

1955: Transferred to Swiss Mediterranean Shipping Co. Ltd. (Management: Keller Shipping Ltd., Basel), Basel.

1959: The 6-cyl. MAN engine replaced by a 6-cyliner 6TD36 Gebr. Sulzer, Winterthur engine (1560 hp). Seatrials with the new engine on 12.12.1959.

1962: Purchased by Keller Shipping Ltd., Basel.

09.08.1972: Sold to Fridiotis Maritime Co. Ltd. (Management: J. Mourtos Brothers (Shipping) Co. Ltd., Piraeus), Famagusta.

Renamed later in 1972 FRIDIOTIS II. Official No.: 36709. Call sign: 5B2129.

1975: Registererd at Limassol.

1981: Sold to Vigliance Marine Co. Ltd. (Management: Elias Maritime Agency, Thessaloniki), Limassol. Not renamed.

28.05.1987: Sold to unknown Sri Lankan buyers, Colombo. Renamed JALIL. Call sign: 4QVG.

1988: Registered at St. Vincent & Grenadines. Homeport Kingstown. Official No.: 2319. Call sign: J8RG.

21.06.1988: Sold to Bednaiel Co. Ltd. (Management: A. Sleiman Co. & Sons, Beirut), Kingstown St. Vincent, and renamed JAFAR.
