After RAFFAELLO and MICHELANGELO were introduced in 1965, COLOMBO base port became Trieste (replacing VULCANIA and SATURNIA) so she called regularly in Venice making regular voyages from the Adriatic to N York. She continued to call at Trieste and Venice once transferred to South America service replacing GIULIO CESARE in 1973

It's incredible that I have visited this splendid ship in the first call at Rio in the 70's. For this visit I give to the captain a painting of the ship by me. Whete is this painting now ???

Thanks for the comments. Regarding Stars & Stipes, she was in 1972 obviously still in Trans-Atlantic service, but from Venice? Maybe a few times in addition to Genova?
