The force of the explosion was so tremendous that it lifted the ship right out of the water onto the quay, and blasted all the paint of the ship, like it was sand blasted ,though in this case it must have been the grain from the destroyed silos instead of sand.
Look at those steel plates crushed as if they were cardboard.
no wonder her poor unfortunate crew perished in the blast.

The ship was working as a bunker barge in Beirut port, but unfortunately all of its crews died

I don't think so - she had been laid up for some years
