Description:
Quebec & Ontario Transportation laker GOLDEN HIND as shown while entering the St.Lawrence Seaway at Longueuil, Québec, in May 1978.
Originally built in 1952 as the Imperial Oil (Esso Canada) tanker IMPERIAL WOODBEND, she was converted the following year into a Great Lakes bulker as depicted here. In 1985, she wss sold to Desgagnés for whom she did a few trips but she was laid up at the end of the season and towed to scrap in Colombia the following year.
