Taken during the “Beast from the East” in 2018 out the rain-lashed back window of Hopetoun which was pushing on a tanker at the time. Cramond is roughly 2 cables north of the Hound Point Terminal, pitching so much that her bowthruster was showing. Normally the town of Dalgety Bay would be clearly visible in the background on the north shore of the Forth. Winds were gusting well over 60kts with averages of 50kts at the time the picture was taken. Photo unedited.
