Description:

Texaco Panama's 1944 Chester, Pa. built T2-SE-A1 tanker TEXACO COCLE, which had been lengthened and widened in 1961, is seen passing Rozenburg inbound for Rotterdam from Milford Haven on 4th August 1973.

EX - ESSO UTICA - 57 GLEN COVE - 61 TEXACO LONDON - 71

The circumstances of her fate are a bit of a mystery. She was no longer listed in Lloyd's Shipping Indexes by the end of 1975 and seems not to have ever been listed as POLARIS 1, a name she took in 1976.

It is reported that she was wrecked on 3rd July 1976 and broken up at Brownsville, Texas, during July 1977.
