Thank you very much indeed for the kind comments folks. It was a very lucky shot; it’s had minimal editing from the iPhone 12’s night/live mode using the Lightroom app. The biggest job was removing the reflections from the camera lens. The downside of using a phone is of course the quality when viewed in full size. However I find using a phone allows it to be pulled quickly out of a pocket when a photo opportunity presents itself. Swings & roundabouts - a phone will never quite be able to replicate the skills of a real and well prepared photographer.

Nowadays there are companies who process your photo ,print it on stiff cardboard and process into a jigsaw puzzle. It would be a great Christmas present for your children or nephew. In my youth I wa scrazy on jigsaw puzzles.
Thanks for sharing captain,
Seasonal greetings from Malta

Great shot especially since it was taken with a phone , but as Pieter said once you look at in full size it losses its quality.

I'm not so much impressed by the I-phone as I am by the shipowner's commitment to saving the planet and having a wind turbine on deck. Brilliant photo though.

It is a wonderful shot, as it is shown here. However, the fact that it was taken with I-phone comes into play when you look at the photo in original size,
