Liberian bulker VANGUARD anchored on the Mississippi River in november 1976, awaiting loading.According to her funnel, she seem to be on charter to Sanko.
This vessel was built 1975 at Usuki Tekkosho, Saiki, and had a deadwight of 25909 tons.
Her history is as follow:
1975: VANGUARD (Liberia)
1987: SINGA WILGUARD (Liberia)
1990: NORMAN LISE (Liberia)
1992: LISE (Liberia)
1995: LISSOM (Panama)
6/12-2001: Damaged by fire while off the SW coast of India.
2002: The damaged vessel had namechange to GENEVIEVE, then HOMER.
3/7-2002: Arrived at Alang, India for B/U.
