WHen I first saw her as Betsy Ross, the funnel did look somewhat large, but one got used to it and it actually wasn't really that large as some photo's depict. Note, her funnel had not changed in height when I sailed in her.

Although it was thought by some folk that her funnel was oversized, spoiling her appearance somewhat, I agree with your sentiments completely.

Emdee, As you well know, Leda was held in great affection here in the UK. She was, as everyone can see, a fine, handsome and purposeful-looking ship. Your splendid photos do her more than justice. The three-quareters bow view is a fine portrait but these two pictures of her sailing away have a remarkable and very special quality about them.

Incredible shot. I sailed on her as Betsy Ross on a local South African cruise. Ship was palgued with problems, delays and cancelled cruises. She departed our shores earlier than planned.
