PANTARALI was launched at Burntisland on 15th March 1937 as SHUNA for Glen and Company.

Sold in 1963, and at some point rebuilt, she was briefly renamed JULIE before becoming PANATARLI in 1964, owned by Praba Cia Nav S.A. (S.Zervos) of Greece and managed by Union Commercial S.S.Co.

PANTARALI was photographed off Gravesend on 29 July 1968 during a voyage from Onega to London with a cargo of timber.

During a ballast voyage from Bejaja to Sousse in Tunisia, PANTARALI was wrecked on Skanes Beach, south of Sousse, on 21 December 1969
