Description:

Carpentaria and Waratah alongside HMAS Vampire at the Australian Maritime Museum.
Light ship built in 1917 at Cockatoo Island dockyard Sydney. Vessel is one of two that were located off the Queensland coast. Retired in 1985.
Waratah built at Cockatoo Island dockyard in 1902, 32.9m x 6.1m, 165GRT. Acquired by Sydney Heritage Fleet in 1968. Oldest coal-fired tug in working order in Australia.
