Description:
Chemical/Product tanker NCC SAFA suffered explosion on board in the evening Apr 20 at outer anchorage off Ijmuiden, details unknown. One crew died in the explosion, another one was badly injured and airlifted to hospital. In the morning Apr 21 tanker was taken to Amsterdam and berthed, for investigation and probably, repairs.
