Description:

Clan Line Steamers Limited's 1962 Greenock built CLAN GRANT passing Battery Point, Portishead, inbound for Avonmouth on 25th June 1972, so exactly fifty years ago today, on a voyage from Kakinada to Antwerp, Rotterdam, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, calling at Durban for bunkers on 28th May.

CLAN GRANT was one of Clan Line's final ships, not being sold until 1980 when she passed to Hong Kong based owners who renamed her ENRIQUETA but sold her to Chinese breakers in January 1985.
