Japanese bulker TOYOTA MARU NO. 20 anchored at Dubai Roads in august 1977. Owned by NYK, but sailing on long-term charter for Toyota.
She was built 1972 at Imabari, and she is what we normally call a car/bulk carrier. She has removeable car-decks which are placed in holds when transporting cars. When transporting normal bulk-cargoes, these decks are stowed in special racks on deck.
In 1980 she was rebuilt to a pure car-carrier.
Renamed THALIA in 1986, and in october 1987 she arrived at Kaohsiung for B/U.
