Hello Malcolm,

what beatuties were those Skou boats! A pity that owners and management were unable to keep the company afloat. Other danish owners did better jobs.....

They were , sadly gone , I had the pleasure(as casual hand,as well ) to work in some of them -Poa wharves too-D1 in them days it was, summer week-end , painting and scraping the aft most name and homeport ...hot as.. Those ships were , in my view , the best looking ones to grace our state-then any swede ones - fast ships , happy crews-they spoke porkandcheese or spanish too , and no troubles at all.
