Description:

Wm.France, Fenwick & Co. Ltd's 1958 Henry Robb, Leith, built SHERWOOD is seen passing Portishead, inbound for Avonmouth from Chicago, exactly fifty years ago, on Sunday 8th October 1972. Her funnel colours with letters HM are a mystery.

EX-THACKERAY-68 (lengthened in 1966)

Later: 1974 NISYROS ERA - damaged in the Great Bitter Lakes on 10th February 1979 and thought to have been broken up locally in about 1991
