Description:

A representative of the F-Class Shell 32000 DWT product tankers built in the seventies by Haugesund MV. (Felipes being yard #52) They were special because of the installation of two medium speed MAN R6V52/55 4-stroke engines of 6000 BHP each, geared to a single shaft.
She was broken up as ONYX at Chittagong during 2004.

Good shot pieter. We saw the "E" class a lot in Geelong, not so much the "F" class. This and the FICUS are the only ones I remember visiting the refinery . . .
