What a beaut... Alianca always had the fastest ones-Amaralina , Maringa , Rafael Lotito , Alberto Cocozza , Suco do Brasil , and a few others . The others had noting to show for...8-)) or to be fair ....nowhere near as fast.

Sorry Roberto, but originally this vessel had nothing to do with Alianca and was of course not one of the fastest reefers compared to many others of that time.
She was ordered by Maritime Fruit Carrier Ltd, Haifa, Israel and build in 1970 by Bergen Mekaniske Verksted A/S Solheimsviken Bergen, Norway, launched as SULTANACORE.
Gt 8.190, 9.725 tdw, Aker B&W engine, 11.500 bhp, 19 kn.
70 - SULTANA, Baltic Frigomaris Kühlschiffsreederei GmbH & Co KG, Hamburg (managed by Christian F. Ahrenkiel GmbH & Co KG, Hamburg).
76 - ARIANE I, Trans Atlantic Reefer Service, Inc. (Maritime Service Aleurope GmbH, Hamburg as manager) Panama City
81 - to Ariana I Shipping Company Ltd, (same manager) Monrovia, Liberia
84 - SOL DO BRASIL, converted into Fruit Juice Tanker
94 - SUCO DO BRASIL
02 - broken up at Alang, India.

Sorry about that , my mistake , did not know the ship personally , just assumed that , the stack misled me . About being fast , I meant on the Brazilian Merchant Marine, only . Apologies.
