General cargo vessel serie B445/1/14 , built for Polish Ocean Lines I Szczecin ( Stocznie im.Adolfa Warskiego ), . Launched 14th Dec 1971 .Completed 29th March 1972 .
Polish flag hoisted 08th April 1972 . The same day the vessel commenced the maiden voyage to East African ports . In 1982 m/v ZYGMUNT III WAZA was engaged in rescue operation for the soviet m/trawler ZHELEZNOVODSK ( on Mediterranean - in vicinity of Gibraltar ). In May 1996 the vessel caused serious damage in Alborg - due to colapsing port facility . Sold in 1997 , then broken up.
