Interesting how much she resembles a different vessel by another yard: https://www.shipspotting.com/photos/2276976 - similar bow bulb, masts/derrics, superstructure.

Is this perhaps the oldest reefer on the high seas?

Hi Matt, no, not the oldest; this one is still trading SILVER ICE' - IMO 7819759, and I suspect there may be older examples!

The US-flag COASTAL TRADER (IMO 5408491) is still trading as well. Though all the photos on here have been moved to the General Cargo category, she is classed as a Reefer by Equasis.

Cheers Kyle/Rick for those informations. Reefers always seem to be long serving vessels along with those Great Lakes vessels.

Hi Rick, she seems also not really moving, when I was in port in novemeber 2022, she was in the port, now on roads, not much better then Rioi,

Hi Gerolf, yes, I believe that the 'Dubreka' is still likely to be trading, as she is fully crewed and IS at least still moving!
Meanwhile 'RIOI' is unmanned and probably heading for Alang or Aliaga. Time will tell.
Best wishes, Rick
