Union Industrielle et Maritime S.A. ("UIM")'s 1961 Port de Bouc built bulk carrier MELUSINE, which was lengthened in 1969, passing Rozenburg inbound for Rotterdam, probably from Caen. She was at the time routinely employed transporting coal from Rotterdam to Caen.

Later: 1978 LENA (Stathatos & Co.)

During a voyage from Bilbao to Detroit, LENA suffered engine damage on 15 May 1982, ten days later putting into El Ferrol for repairs. She was however sold to local breakers, work commencing on 19 July 1982.
