I think so. All the structure of the foward was added to push barges, so it's ver likely that they added some reinforcement in the bow.
If Ixm nkt wrong, initialy works as pilot boat in Racalada Pilot Station, outside Río de La Plata.

This extrange seen vessel was a pilot vessel and them they put over it that beautiful structure and converted into a pusher tug.
