Description:
Panamanian seismic vessel WESTERN LEGEND is here seen laid up at Lyngdal, Norway in july 2004.
She was built 1991 at Ulstein Verft, Ulsteinvik.
Shortly after I took this photo, she was sold to USA. The vessel was then rebuilt to a research-vessel, to be operated by Columbia University.
Her new name was MARCUS G. LANGSETH.
