WELCOME TO SHIPSPOTTING.COM
Denmark flag, built 1969, gross tons 15850,
BU Gadani Beach 28.4.86 as Irenes Odyssey,
watch out the small freighter aof about 3.000 tons in the back, probably with homeport Hamburg (look at the bow), interesting to know the name.
And at the place of the power station behind is now standing "Elbphilharmonie", the famous Hamburg new concert hall.

thanks for your research.
What is still disturbing me, is the bow, because that looks like the symbol of Hamburg. If this would be true, then the ship must be German.
Anyway, this is a photo of the same company as ANTONIO CARLOS, Companhia Nacional, Lisboa:
I saw her as well in April 1970 and bought a foto of her taken is 1968, and on that foto ist the mark in front as well although she has still the old bridge design.
Unfortunately I cannot post it because of copyright Arnold Kludas.
it took me a while to find out about the vessel in the back at Shed 22, Baakenhafen, Hamburg.
She is Portuguese ANTONIO CARLOS, IMO 5020213, built in 1947 by Cia Uniao Fabril, Lisbon (120) for Soc Geral de Comercio, Industria e Transportes, Lisbon.
GT 1.736, 2.927 tdw, 12 kn.
81- broken up at Lisbon.
Her sistership CONCEICAO MARIA was broken up in 1968 after a collision.
There are two good photos and details in Portuguese.
In the first photo are glimpses of the bow tag when enlarged, the second one shows the state as in your photo with an all white bridge:
Best wishes, Manfred
