The M.A.Karageorgis owned ARISTOGENIS, a 36L type built at Bremerhaven in 1980, is seen departing from Liverpool on 4th June 1983, exactly forty years ago today.
She had sailed from Glasgow on 7th April 1983 bound for Puerto Cabello on charter to Harrison Line, returning from the United States with a cargo of maize gluten pellets and dried distillers grains.
