Description:

Strick Line's BALUCHISTAN, built in 1956 by Readheads at South Shields, arriving at Avonmouth direct from Bahrain (via Durban for bunkers) exactly fifty years ago today, on 7th June 1973.

This was her last voyage in Strick colours as she was soon painted in the colours of P&O General Cargo Division, who in 1975 renamed her STRATHAIRLIE. She was subsequently sold to breakers at Kaohsiung where she arrived 26th August 1977.
