Description:

German semi-containership CORINNA DRESCHER is here seen at arrival Philadelphia in July 1980.
She was built 1978 at Schichau Unterweser, Bremerhaven, and was of 10 300 t.dw.
From 1979 to 1980 she had a short spell with charter name LLOYD BALTIMORE before reverting to CORINNA DRESCHER again in 1980.
In 1981 she was chartered to Argentine owners, and was renamed ELMA TRES. But that did not last for long.
On 26.11.1981 she capzised and sank east of Bermuda in bad weather while on a voyage from Buenos Aires to U.S. East coast.
Only one crewmember out of 24 survived.

You must have been on a ship anchored in Kaighns Point Anchorage off Philadelphia.

Yes, I was on a ship at anchor, but I don't remember the name of the anchorage. But it was not far from the center of the city, where the four-masted barque MOSHULU was berthed..
