Keel laid during December 1962, launched on 15/04/1963, and completed on 03/09/1963, by George T. Davie & Sons Ltd, Lauzon, Quebec, Canada (80)
291 g.t., as:
'Cape Race', and always under this name.

The vessel has been converted at least twice in her life, the last occasion being to a charter expedition motor yacht during 2018 – 2020 in Reykjavik, Iceland.
