Yes Derek, I was afloat. The TSS chartered a small fishing boat to view the laid up shipping... you weren't per chance on the same boat were you?!!!

Afraid not John,
Our local WSS branch (of which I am chairman)
hired a trawler. We managed about 20 people with some from Gt. Yarmouth coming as well.
Looks like your going to beat me in posting the images!

I appreciate the photos that you and others have posted or can post on the Blackwater anchorage.

If you have any more I would be pleased to see them as I am working with others to compile a history, and myself to re-open the outer anchorage. I welcome any contact by site members.

Our records here show Aliakmon River arrived 26/07/82 and sailed renamed Delfini on 01/11/85
