The Great Lakes bulker Frontenac was built in 1968 and has spent its entire career with the same name and the same owner. It is the fifth Canada Steamship Line ship to have the name of Frontenac.

Seen passing under a highway lift bridge while approaching Lock 4 on the Welland Canal on July 14, 2007.

One could do worse than spend a sunny summer day along the Welland Canal.
