Description:

The upbound 1,000 footer Great Lakes bulker Walter J. McCarthy has slowed and moved out of the navigation channel of the St. Claire River. It will use the river's current and its thrusters to slip backwards to the Shell Oil Dock south of Sarnia, Ontario to take bunkers. Meanwhile, CSL's self unloading bunker Frontenac, which has been trailing the Big Mac for several hours, catches up and passes the the Big Mac and soon will be entering the massive Lake Huron.

Evening of Sept 2, 2007, Marysville, Michigan/Sarnia, Ontario
