Geroff Drebes! This ship was never owned by any German company or flagged in Germany. She was built in 1964 by Bergens Mekaniske Verksted and delivered the same year to Israeli Maritime Fruit Carriers and put under the Israeli flag with the name LEMONCORE, Sold to Honduras in 1976 when MFC had financial problems. Under her new owners, she was named OMOA. However, several of her sister ships were registered in Germany, but not this one. A total of 16 units were built in this series of vessels commonly referred to as "Standardcores",
