Description:

Clyde Shipping Company's tug taken at Port Glasgow in October 1993 assisting the new ferry RED FALCON to berth following her launch at the Ferguson yard.
FLYING PHANTOM was herself built there in 1981 and was the longest serving Clyde tug and the last former Clyde Shipping tug in service until she sadly ran aground and capsized in December 2007 when towing a bulker upriver to Glasgow with the loss of 3 of her crew of 4.
RED FALCON was built for the Southampton to Cowes service for Red Funnel and has since been drastically altered in appearance.
