Hi John,

what a great close-up of this old HANSA-beauty!
She was one of seven sisters of the W-class. Five of them were sold to COSCO in the 1970'ies.

- WACHTFELS (DA NING; +1991 ALANG)
- WERDENFELS (DA DE; +???)
- WALLENFELS (DA SHI QIAO; +1991 ALANG)
- WASSERFELS (DA CHANG ZHEN; +1991 CHITTAGONG)
- WILDENFELS (DA JIN CHUAN; +1992)
- WARTENFELS (NEPTUNE TOPAZ; SUPANYA; DRAGON BANGKA; +1996 ALANG)
- WEISSENFELS (NEPTUNE ZIRCON; PAITHOON; DRAGON BINTAN; +1995 ALANG)

Thanx for posting this pic!

Krgds,
Arne

Thanks for the comments. One of my better early attempts, such a shame that in my youth I had to conserve film so let many like this slip by :-o She is just taking on the river pilot, who can be seen at the top of the ladder.
Happy days!
