Is this the ex "Contender" that was orginally operated between Invergordon Scotland and the Orkney Islands Scotland by the ill fated Orcargo Company in a wine couloured livery which went into liquidation owing a lot of money to various business in Orkney and was taken over for a short time by Streamline Shipping before being sold - If it is the ex Contender i am sure she had a lot of new steel plating put in her sides which contributed to her demise.
Again if this is the Contender when she ran between Orkney and Invergordon she was a Livestock Carrier having had her lower deck converted to carry livestock whilst her main deck remained for Ro/Ro freight.
